Regulatory Affairs & Foreign Trade Specialist

(Izmir, Turkey)

Your Mission

• Ensure regulatory compliance of Puratos brands in accordance with TR and EU, about product formulation and labels as well as ensuring compliance with Puratos Policies

• Follow up local regulations and regulatory initiatives concerning or having impact on business, analyze them, update relevant business divisions before & in case and take actions if necessary and share knowledge with local and global functions

• Collaboratively work with other departments on the related areas such as production, sales, R&D and planning

• Follow up on import and logistics operations and customs clearance transactions in light of foreign trade regulations

• Prepare documentation in accordance with the legislation

• Arrange and follow up on payments (cost of goods, customs commission and other import expenses, letters of guarantee)

What we expect from you

• A bachelor’s degree in Food / Chemical Engineering, Foreign Trade, International Relations or a related field

• At least 3-5 years of experience in similar roles

• Exhibit a strong grasp of international trade terms, customs & trade compliance and comprehensive knowledge of food regulations

• Strong extensive stakeholder management skills

• Business fluent in English

• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, familiar with SAP

• Embrace the role of a team player, showcasing self-motivation, a service-oriented mindset

• Pay meticulous attention to details and accuracy, demonstrating a commitment to delivering high-quality results
