RINA is currently recruiting for a Turkey I&M MEP Engineer to join its office in Istanbul within the International Infrastructure & Mobility Division.
Mission
The role focuses on the development and execution of sustainable design practices (MEP Systems) under the supervision of Senior Engineer.
Key Accountabilities
Design Development:
- Lead the development of sustainable designs from concept through detailed design, ensuring compliance with project requirements, applicable codes, standards, and client specifications under the supervision of Senior Engineer.
- Produce engineering designs and details, providing construction support as needed.
- Conduct interface coordination with other disciplines and review reports, calculations, and drawings prepared by other engineers.
- Write and support ,technical reports and specifications to communicate design concepts and details effectively.
- Provide technical support during the construction phase, addressing any issues or challenges related systems.
- Collaborate with on-site teams to troubleshoot and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other team members to integrate relevant systems seamlessly into overall project designs.
- Manage MEP and other disciplines aspects of projects, including creating project schedules, tracking progress, document control and ensuring adherence to budget constraints.
- Implement and oversee quality assurance processes for relevant systems to ensure reliability and compliance with project requirements.
- Conduct inspections and tests to verify the performance of installed systems.
- Stay informed about industry trends, changes in regulations, and updates to building codes affecting MEP systems.
- Ensure all MEP designs and installations comply with relevant codes and standards.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering General
Qualifications

Experience: Entry-level position with preferably 0-2 years of experience in MEP systems design and development. Prior internships or coursework related to MEP systems design are advantageous.

Technical Skills:
- Basic understanding of sustainable design principles and practices, with a willingness to learn and develop proficiency in designing MEP systems.
- Familiarity with design software such as Auto CAD, Revit, or similar tools for producing engineering designs, drawings, and 3D models.
- Ability to assist in conducting design calculations and preparing technical reports and specifications under the supervision of senior engineers.
