RINA is currently recruiting for a Turkey I&M MEP Engineer to join its office in Istanbul within the International Infrastructure & Mobility Division.

Mission

The role focuses on the development and execution of sustainable design practices (MEP Systems) under the supervision of Senior Engineer.

Key Accountabilities

Design Development:

Lead the development of sustainable designs from concept through detailed design, ensuring compliance with project requirements, applicable codes, standards, and client specifications under the supervision of Senior Engineer.
Produce engineering designs and details, providing construction support as needed.

Technical Support and Documentation:

Conduct interface coordination with other disciplines and review reports, calculations, and drawings prepared by other engineers.
Write and support ,technical reports and specifications to communicate design concepts and details effectively.
Provide technical support during the construction phase, addressing any issues or challenges related systems.
Collaborate with on-site teams to troubleshoot and resolve problems in a timely manner.

Multidisciplinary Collaboration:

Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other team members to integrate relevant systems seamlessly into overall project designs.

Project Management:

Manage MEP and other disciplines aspects of projects, including creating project schedules, tracking progress, document control and ensuring adherence to budget constraints.

Quality Assurance:

Implement and oversee quality assurance processes for relevant systems to ensure reliability and compliance with project requirements.

Conduct inspections and tests to verify the performance of installed systems.

Code Compliance:

Stay informed about industry trends, changes in regulations, and updates to building codes affecting MEP systems.
Ensure all MEP designs and installations comply with relevant codes and standards.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering General

Qualifications

Experience: Entry-level position with preferably 0-2 years of experience in MEP systems design and development. Prior internships or coursework related to MEP systems design are advantageous.

Technical Skills:
- Basic understanding of sustainable design principles and practices, with a willingness to learn and develop proficiency in designing MEP systems.
- Familiarity with design software such as Auto CAD, Revit, or similar tools for producing engineering designs, drawings, and 3D models.
- Ability to assist in conducting design calculations and preparing technical reports and specifications under the supervision of senior engineers.
