Banking Compliance Specialist (Cyprus)

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that bank transactions comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines.
- Developing, updating, and enforcing the internal policies to comply with legal standards.
- Responsible for opening and closing bank accounts.
- Working closely with banking partners to respond to all compliance requests.
- Identifying and assessing the risks associated with the bank transactions.
- Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Preparing reports for management as required.
- Investigating and resolving potential compliance issues or breaches, and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Liaising with regulatory authorities and stakeholders on compliance-related matters.
- Staying informed about the evolving regulatory landscape and best practices in banking compliance.
- Higher education.
- Experience in banking compliance.
- Skills in developing and implementing internal policies and procedures.
- Proficiency in English at a high level.
- Ability to work in a team and interact with various stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Confident use of office software.
- Dual citizenship (including European).
- Schedule: Mon-Fri, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
