Product Description:

Team:
Our team consists of 20 specialists, covering the full game development and production cycle. The Dev-team includes:

• 3 Client-side Engineers
• 1 Full-Stack Developer
• 2 Backend Engineers
• 2 QA Engineers
• Technical Director
• 3 Senior 2D Artists
• 1 Technical Artist/Animator
• 1 Project Manager
• In this role, you will collaborate closely with developers and product owners.

Technologies in Use:
Java Script, Pixi.js, i OS/Android, Node.js, Jira, Git, Python (for scripting), etc.
Expected Task Roadmap for the First 3 Months:

• Design and fine-tune game math models for our upcoming slot games.
• Perform comprehensive simulations of game math.
• Collaborate with Game Producer and Game Developers to create highly engaging game mechanics.
• Explore games from other providers and deliver competitive analysis on game math models.
• Be involved in the game creation process from concept to delivery.
• Take part in reels adaptation on the backend with the engineering team.

Must-have Experience:

• University degree in mathematics, computer science, technology, or engineering.
• At least 2 years of commercial experience as a game mathematician (or similar position) in online gambling.
• Understanding of various slot mechanics.
• Exceptional attention to detail, able to identify and troubleshoot even small mistakes in math models.
• Strong problem-solving skills for abstract and complex math challenges.
• Data-driven and analytical mindset in decision-making.

Nice to Have:

• Scripting skills in Python.
• Experience with SVN/Git or other version control systems.
• Motivated by challenges and stretch goals.
• Strong mathematical intuition, creativity, and curiosity.
• Ability to view games from a player’s perspective.
• Self-organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.

English:
Upper-Intermediate (B2+) or higher.
Office:
Remote work for candidates based in the EU. A hybrid option is available for Ukraine-based candidates, with weekly team meetings in Kyiv or Lviv.
Probation Period:
3 months.
Working Hours:
Flexible 8-hour workday, typically from 10 AM to 7 PM, following the GMT+2/UTC+2 time zone. One stand-up at 10:00 AM and additional sync-ups as needed.
