Geophysicist (Geologist)

This role is perfect for recent graduates or final-year students in the fields of Geology or Geophysics with strong seismic image processing skills. In this position, you will analyze geological data crucial for exploration and production operations.

Accurate annotation and interpretation of seismic images

Utilize personal hardware and software tools independently

Effective time management to meet project deadlines
-
Address complex geological issues using analytical and critical thinking
-
Provide mentorship and support to junior team members on geophysical methods and techniques
-
Adjust to shifts in project demands and data analysis approaches
-
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to maintain data consistency and quality
-
Academic qualification in Geology, Geophysics, or a related discipline
-
Skilled in Python, image processing, and seismic image annotation
-
Recent graduate or final-year student with excellent grades in Geology or Geophysics
-
Proficient with IT tools including Microsoft Office, GIS software, and geophysical modeling software
-
Keen attention to detail and precise in data interpretation
-
Capable of working autonomously and managing tasks efficiently
-
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
-
Ability to mentor and lead junior team members
-
Flexible in adapting to evolving project demands and goals

Experienced with seismic interpretation tools like Petrel and Kingdom Suite
-
Familiar with the Oil & Gas industry, geological survey techniques, and data acquisition methods
-
Proficient in English with B2 level communication skills
