Junior Android Engineer (Ukraine)

Purpose of the job:
Our client is one of the largest fashion accessories retailers, focused on design, production, manufacturing, as well as distribution and retail. They are multi-branded and rapidly expanding, with a remarkable global presence. Their main goal is to bring customers closer to the products they need.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support team in designing, developing, and maintaining Android applications;
  • Work closely with team members and client to understand product requirements and deliver features;
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code according to project guidelines and coding standards;
  • Continuously learn new technologies and Android development practices, applying them to ongoing tasks
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
MUST HAVE:
  • Practical experience with Kotlin
  • Coroutines
  • Basic understanding of Jetpack Compose
  • Knowledge of data storage mechanisms (SQLite, Room)
  • Basic experience with Graph QL
  • English Upper-Intermediate
WOULD BE A PLUS:
  • Experience of working in Scrum team
