Junior Lawyer

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts, subcontracts, and other legal documents related to the construction project.
- Conduct legal research on Ukrainian laws and regulations, particularly those relating to construction, land use, environmental compliance, and labor law.
- Ensure that the project complies with all applicable Ukrainian laws and regulations, including permits, licenses, and environmental guidelines.
- Assist in managing and resolving legal disputes
- Maintain organised records of legal documents, correspondence, and other relevant information.
- Liaise with external legal advisors, contractors, government agencies, and other stakeholders as needed.
- Provide general legal support to senior legal counsel and other members of the project team.
- Assist in conducting due diligence on potential project partners, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Identify and mitigate potential legal risks associated with the project.
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized Ukrainian university. A master's degree in law or specialization in construction law is a plus.
- Minimum of one years of experience in a legal role, preferably with a focus on construction law, contract law, or corporate law. Must be registered with the Ukrainian National Bar Association for at least one year.
- Fluent in Ukrainian, with B2/C1 proficiency in English (both written and spoken)
- Familiarity with Ukrainian construction laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
