Purpose of the job:

The client is a fast-growing VC-backed startup in San Francisco that provides a holistic customer service platform that revolutionizes B2C communications from the bottom up. Absolutely best-in-class leadership team, and the VP of Engineering is one of the Co-Founders. The platform allows their users to focus on customer communication driven by naturally productive conversations using artificial intelligence. The client service platform provides seamless communication options across any channel from voice, email, messaging, chat, and social media.
We are looking for the engineer who has experience with Graph QL and REST to join a team which focuses on implementation of integrations of the platform with other solutions.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support the development and maintenance of the Customer Apps, ensuring smooth integration with order management systems (Shopify, Big Commerce);
Build templates using Go Templating and Graph QL, following established team practices;
Troubleshoot and resolve basic issues within the app, learning to ensure quality and performance;
Document work and processes, contributing to app usability and providing insights as needed.

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

MUST HAVE:

Familiarity with Graph QL or similar query languages, including schema basics;
Basic understanding of JSON and XML for data representation and service communication;
Basic understanding of any templating language for web applications (ideally – Go), or willingness to learn;
Willingness to research and use available online resources to strengthen technical skills.

WOULD BE A PLUS:

Some exposure to backend and front-end development frameworks;
Basic familiarity with order management systems or e-commerce concepts;
Interest in learning front-end libraries like React;
Familiarity with cloud services or an interest in learning deployment processes for web applications.
