The Marketplace Product Marketing Manager (reporting to the Head of Product Marketing) will be responsible for the strategic development of Skylum's digital assets marketplace. This includes acquiring new partners, setting new product categories, and managing a small team of one marketing manager and two retouchers who create content internally. The ideal candidate will drive the growth and expansion of the marketplace, enhancing its value proposition to customers and partners.

The Marketplace Product Marketing Manager (reporting to the Head of Product Marketing) will be responsible for the strategic development of Skylum's digital assets marketplace. This includes acquiring new partners, setting new product categories, and managing a small team of one marketing manager and two retouchers who create content internally. The ideal candidate will drive the growth and expansion of the marketplace, enhancing its value proposition to customers and partners.
Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Development:
- Lead the planning and execution of marketplace growth strategies together with the Head of Product Marketing.
- Identify and implement new product categories to diversify and enrich marketplace offerings.
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions.

Partner Acquisition:
- Identify, approach, and secure new partners to expand the marketplace ecosystem.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners and content creators.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements that align with company objectives.

Marketing & Promotion:
- Create compelling marketing campaigns to drive traffic and sales.
- Utilize digital marketing channels such as SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media.
- Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to optimize campaigns.

Team Management:
- Oversee and mentor a team of one marketing manager and two retouchers.
- Set clear performance goals and conduct regular evaluations.

Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.

Marketplace Operations:
- Manage day-to-day operations to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance marketplace functionality and design.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new products and categories.

Analytics & Reporting:
- Track marketplace KPIs and prepare regular performance reports.
- Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjust strategies as needed.
- Conduct A/B testing to evaluate the effectiveness of different approaches.
Qualifications:

Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of product marketing/management/ownership or project management experience in the software or technology sector.
- Proven track record in managing and growing digital marketplaces or e-commerce platforms.
- Experience in strategic development and expansion of marketplaces.
- Demonstrated success in acquiring new partners and establishing new product categories.
- Experience in managing and leading small teams, including marketing and creative professionals.
- Background in the photography, creative software, or related industry is highly desirable.

Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, PPC, email marketing, social media, and content marketing.
- Proficiency with marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and CRM software.
- Familiarity with marketplace dynamics and experience working with marketplace platforms.

Analytical Skills:
- Excellent ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Experience with A/B testing and data-driven decision-making.

Communication Skills:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (English, C1+).
- Ability to create compelling marketing materials and product narratives.
- Strong presentation skills for both internal teams and external stakeholders.
