Our client is a British multinational enterprise software company. It is a market leader in providing integrated solutions for accounting, payroll, and payments, supporting millions of entrepreneurs across more than 20 countries. One of their products is a powerful and customizable human resource management solution that is offering centralized payroll, time, competence, and recruit management for business organizations. It uses Progress Open Edge as a Business Applications Development Platform and is hosted in ISO 27001 and ISAE 3402 certified banking datacenters in Austria. They need to extend the functionality of this product to accelerate growth and migration to the cloud and reduce cloud ops costs by moving functionality from Windows client application to a web application. We are looking for engineers who can be integrated into an existing team and support this software development team.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Active participation in the SDLC: planning, backlog grooming, retrospective
Be a part of the software development team that aims to accelerate the product growth and it's migration to the cloud technologies
Contribute to the product modernization, adding on the plate new technologies and methods

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

MUST HAVE:

Proven track of software development background
German language (Read, Write) and good English communication skills
Progress Open Edge 11.7 / 12.2 / ABL
Web Technologies (Java Script / CSS / HTML)

WOULD BE A PLUS:

Knowledge about Austrian payroll / time management / travel expenses
Kendo UI
Node JS
Net MAUI
