Manual QA Engineer

We’re looking for a Manual QA Engineer to help our client boost customer experience.
Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Poltava, Ukraine

Beetroot is a trusted partner for startups and established brands worldwide to solve their software and tech staffing needs. Our client is a digital agency that specializes in designing, developing, and managing large-scale digital platforms, primarily built on Word Press.
As a Manual QA Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and functionality of the web solutions. It is an exciting opportunity for a tech-driven person with a broad skill set to join a dynamic environment.
What you’ll do in this role
  • Perform manual visual and functional testing of Word Press websites and applications to ensure they meet design and functional specifications.
  • Validate UI/UX elements across different browsers and devices.
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to identify and resolve issues.
  • Write, maintain, and execute detailed test cases and provide thorough documentation of test results.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs and defects to ensure timely resolution.
  • Work within Agile/Scrum teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality features and updates.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and tools.
We’re looking for
  • 2+ years of experience in manual QA testing with a focus on visual and functional testing.
  • Hands-on experience testing various CMS platforms, including Word Press websites.
  • Familiarity with cross-browser and cross-device testing.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering a polished, user-friendly product.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate issues clearly.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment and collaborating with development teams.
  • At least Upper-Intermediate English skills.
