We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Manual QA Engineer to join our dynamic team, specializing in personal finance management products. As a Junior QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our financial software, helping users manage their finances effectively.
REQUIREMENTS
We are looking for QA Engineer who has:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
- 1 year of experience in software quality assurance, preferably with experience in financial software or related fields;
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall);
- Experience with various testing types, including functional, regression, integration, and system testing, with a focus on financial calculations and data accuracy;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong understanding of financial concepts and calculations;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, especially in the context of financial data;
- Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- As a QA Engineer you will:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test cases and test plans to verify the accuracy, functionality, and usability of our personal finance management product.
- Identify, isolate, and document defects related to financial calculations, data integrity, and user experience.
- Work closely with developers, product manager, and designer to understand product requirements and ensure quality throughout the development process.
- Perform regression testing to verify that new changes do not introduce defects into existing financial calculations or user features.
