The Release Manager will be a member of the delivery leadership and will work closely with the Chief Product Owner, Second-level Support and other teams. The Release Manager will be responsible for managing the complete software delivery life cycle including planning, deployment, quality assurance and coordination of vendors/external service providers. The customer specializes in enterprise-level payment technology that is flexible enough for businesses of all shapes and sizes to accept and process payments, so release management activities will be related to several payment processing products.

• Manage and execute the release process, including acceptance testing as per the Quality Assurance strategy defined

  Establish, prioritize, and participate in acceptance testing with other relevant tech stakeholders

  Maintain and communicate release schedule/roadmap

  Lead the Go-Live activities to deploy the software successfully

  Handle second-level support, addressing escalated issues

  "Lessons learned" execution, root causes research, identification of required improvements

  Manage risks and resolve issues that affect the release schedule and quality

  Generating various reports on project data according to company needs

  Supports the creation and improvement of processes, procedures, and tools
  

Requirements

• Excellent communication and coordination skills, including the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders, internal teams and external suppliers
  
• Time management skills to coordinate various aspects of production and create schedules that maximize productivity and operational efficiency
  
• Problem-solving skills to brainstorm effective solutions and get new releases and operation of release deployed to production back on track in case of any deviations
  
• Technical knowledge of software development and deployment
  
• Good understanding of Fin Tech, EMV, Payment Processing
  
• Familiarity with IT support processes, particularly in second-line support or incident management

• Experience with project management tools
  
• Knowledge of PCI standards and compliance requirements
  
• Experience with PCI or other corporate certifications

• Level: Senior
  
• 3+ years of project / release management experience
  
• 2+ years of Fin Tech domain experience
