Job Description:
The Accountant will be responsible for managing various financial functions within the
company, with a primary focus on ensuring the accuracy of financial records, stock
management, and compliance with relevant U.A.E. laws and tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough **book checking** to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
- Conduct **stock taking** for gold, diamonds, and other valuable assets to ensure
inventory is correctly valued and recorded.
- Issue **sales invoices** in accordance with company policies.
- Generate **payment received invoices** and ensure that transactions are recorded
properly.
- Maintain accurate financial records, including reconciliations and balance sheet
reporting.
- Familiarity with and adherence to **U.A.E. financial regulations** and tax laws.
- Handle **tax submissions** and ensure timely payment in accordance with U.A.E. tax
requirements.
- Provide periodic reports to management on financial status and performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient financial operations.
**Requirements:**
- Minimum **5 years of experience** working as an accountant, with a focus on the
gold, diamond, or luxury goods industries.
- Strong knowledge of **U.A.E. tax laws** and financial regulations.
- Proficient in accounting software (VIN GOLD) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills in **English** (knowledge of Arabic is a plus).
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
