Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant IT Manager to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As an Assistant IT Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the IT department's operations, ensuring smooth functioning of our IT infrastructure, and contributing to the organization's technological advancement.
- Assist in managing and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and software systems
- Collaborate with the IT Manager to develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business objectives
- Oversee IT projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot complex IT issues for staff and stakeholders
- Implement and maintain IT security measures to protect the organization's data and systems
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts for IT services and equipment
- Conduct regular system audits and performance analyses to identify areas for improvement
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions
- Train and mentor junior IT staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
- Assist in creating and maintaining IT policies, procedures, and documentation
- Participate in budget planning and resource allocation for IT initiatives
- Ensure compliance with relevant IT regulations and standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 3-5 years of IT management experience
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud computing platforms
- Proven experience in project management and implementing IT solutions
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
- Proficiency in IT security best practices and data protection measures
- Knowledge of ITIL framework and IT service management principles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., ITIL, Comp TIA, Microsoft) are a plus
