Business Studies Teacher
The British International School Abu Dhabi is looking to appoint an outstanding Business Studies Teacher to join a well-established, supportive team in a highly successful and expanding school.
The closing date for applications is 1st December 2024. We are looking for someone to join the team in January 2025.
About You
You will be a teacher who is passionate about their profession and seeks continuous improvement. You will have a positive mindset and will always do your very best for students, for parents and for colleagues. You will have strong experience of the UK national curriculum; further experience of international education will be an added advantage.
You will be an excellent communicator who will work well with all members of the community. You will have a strong focus on being the best teacher you can be and will also participate fully in the extra-curricular aspects of school life. You will be responsible for encouraging and developing further our culture of inspiration, enjoyment and success. Keen to collaborate and share your expertise, you will have good interpersonal skills and the ability and confidence to build strong working relationships. The flexibility and open-mindedness required to adapt quickly to a fast-paced international environment are essential.

Our close-knit, supportive team is honoured to be at the centre of our community, educating students aged 3-18, from more than 90 nationalities.
The school was originally opened in 2009 and is now widely recognised as one of the leading schools in the Middle East. Rated outstanding by ADEK, the school offers a world-class education following the best of British and international curricula, including IGCSE, IBDP, and BTEC extended diploma.
Applicants should submit a CV, letter of application and the details of two professional referees, one of which should be you current Head Teacher/Principal.

About the Role
Our school follows the English national curriculum to IGCSE and the IB Diploma Programme post-16. The successful candidate will be able to inspire students of all ages and abilities. Classroom resources are plentiful, and expectations are high for achievement for all students. BIS Abu Dhabi is a growing school; we currently serve more than 2000 students from 3 to 18 years old that follow the best in British and international curricula, including the English National Curriculum, Cambridge IGCSE, and International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) and BTEC (Business).
