Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Estimator & Auto CAD Draughtsman to join our team in Dubai. This multifaceted role demands expertise in both cost estimation and technical drafting. The ideal candidate will be adept at evaluating project costs, preparing detailed cost estimates, and analyzing project specifications, particularly for building envelope and façade projects. In addition, they will be skilled in creating shop drawings, production drawings, and as-built drawings for Aluminium, Glass, ACP, and architectural elements.
Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Estimation:
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for building envelope and façade projects, including Aluminium, Glass, ACP, and other architectural elements.
• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and contract documents to determine scope of work and cost implications.
• Collaborate with project managers, design engineers, and procurement teams to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
• Review and interpret technical documents, and perform quantity take-offs and cost analysis.
• Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, material costs, and best practices.
• Prepare and present comprehensive cost reports and bid proposals.
• Auto CAD Drafting:
• Create and modify shop drawings, production drawings, and as-built drawings for Aluminium, Glass, ACP, and architectural elements.
• Ensure all drawings are accurate, compliant with project specifications, and reflect the latest design updates.
• Work closely with design and production teams to ensure drawings meet project requirements and standards.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating for building envelope and façade projects, including Aluminium, Glass, ACP, and architectural elements.
• Technical Skills:
• Proven experience in creating and interpreting shop drawings, production drawings, and as-built drawings using Auto CAD.
• Strong knowledge of Aluminium, Glass, ACP, and architectural elements.
• Familiarity with UAE local systems and standards.
• Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Software Proficiency: Proficient in relevant estimating software and Auto CAD tools.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Additional Requirements:

• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Demonstrated experience in both estimating and Auto CAD drafting for projects involving Aluminium, Glass, and architectural elements within the UAE.
