Job Title: Facade Estimator
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Responsibilities:

• Review architectural drawings, specifications, and project requirements to understand the scope of work for facade projects.
• Analyze project documents to identify materials, labor, and equipment needed for facade installations.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including engineers and project managers, to gather necessary information for accurate cost estimation.
• Utilize cost estimation software and tools to calculate material quantities, labor costs, and other project expenses.
• Prepare detailed and itemized cost estimates, including breakdowns of materials, labor, subcontractor bids, and overhead costs.
• Present cost estimates to management for review and approval, ensuring alignment with project budgets and profit margins.
• Participate in bid meetings and client negotiations, providing insights and recommendations regarding project pricing.
• Maintain accurate records of project estimates, revisions, and correspondence with clients and subcontractors.
• Stay updated on industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and new materials to continuously improve estimation accuracy and competitiveness.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to source materials and subcontractor services at competitive prices without compromising quality.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Proven experience as an estimator in the construction industry, with specific expertise in facade systems estimation preferred.
• Proficiency in cost estimation software and tools, such as Bluebeam, Plan Swift, or similar programs.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex project documents and specifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines without compromising accuracy.
• Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to facade construction in the UAE is a plus.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and willingness to learn new techniques and technologies.
