Job Title: Estimator / Quantity Surveyor
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE)
Experience:
Lead and manage quantity surveying activities for building, infrastructure, and solar farm construction projects in the UAE.
Prepare accurate bills of quantities and cost estimates tailored to the specific requirements of the local market.
Conduct comprehensive cost analysis and provide strategic advice to ensure cost-effective project delivery.
Administer construction contracts, including the evaluation of variations, change orders, and progress claims, adhering to UAE industry standards.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment between cost control measures and project objectives.
Review and negotiate subcontractor agreements, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
Monitor project budgets, cash flow, and financial forecasts, taking proactive measures to address potential issues.
Mentor and guide junior quantity surveyors within the team.
Stay updated on industry trends, changes in regulations, and best practices related to quantity surveying in the UAE.
Qualifications:
Required Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering.
Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in UAE.
Strong understanding of UAE construction regulations and market dynamics.
Proficient in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
