The Med Net Group is a leading TPA in the MEA region and a member of Munich Re Group. Med Net delivers a full range of health policy administration services, claims cost and medical treatment quality management, supported by contracted international networks of medical providers. Beneficiaries are all stakeholders in the healthcare sector – from patients to healthcare providers and health insurance companies, in additional to regulators and distributors.
We are currently seeking to hire the “Head of Med Net” to lead and manage the Med Net Group of companies.
Your Job:
- Lead and direct the Med Net Group of companies through the development and implementation of strategies and operational plans which drive growth, profitability and excellence in performance.
- Define annual profit targets and ensure constant monitoring for each market to achieve profit maximisation in accord with the Munich Re Group business plan.
- Strategic focus is successful completion of partnership setup with key multi-national client in the region and expansion into new product lines. Future strategic focus will be on upgrading and automating the infrastructure, systems and processes as well as enhancing digital interfaces with key stakeholders and building patient centred digital health solutions.
- Operational focus is on increasing efficiencies through automation of business management systems and further integrating the Med Net Group to leverage synergies through shared services and centre of competencies; this includes the further development and optimization of the organisational structure so that resources are optimally utilised and communication can take place in an efficient manner.
- Act as the key liaison between the Med Net Group and MR reinsurance for optimal combined products and solutions and for ensuring effective coordination and communication between key stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain effective business relationships with external entities (such as business partners, insurance companies and health care service providers, auditors, local and government authorities, customers etc.) with highest standards of business ethics.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business or General Management with a globally recognised Insurance qualification
- 10 years’ in diverse senior management roles, including at least 5 years in a general management or operational management role, preferably in the insurance or TPA sector; exposure to international companies and Middle East experience preferred
- Advanced knowledge of the health insurance and TPA industry and business models, including expertise and experience in digitalization and automation projects
- Strong strategic leadership skills, including building and leading of high performing teams in multi-cultural environments
- Proven experience in financially steering a for profit service business model
- Excellent communication skills
- Effective negotiation, coaching and mentoring skills
- Fluency in English is essential
