You'll lead the development of our Unified Data Layer Architecture, creating a groundbreaking framework that will transform how our company interacts with data across all platforms and services.

The challenge ahead? Building a scalable, real-time data architecture that processes millions of transactions per second while maintaining sub-second latency. Your work will directly impact millions of traders and shape the future of online trading technology.

On a given day, you will:

Architect and implement cutting-edge data processing systems that handle massive transaction volumes
Design innovative solutions to complex data challenges, balancing performance, cost, and maintainability
Lead the implementation of a unified data layer that serves as the backbone for all our applications
Mentor and guide engineering teams across multiple domains
Pioneer new approaches to data mesh architecture and real-time data processing
Create effective data pipelines with comprehensive monitoring capabilities

We would love to work with you if you:

Have 15+ years of data engineering experience, with 5+ years in architectural roles
Possess deep expertise in distributed systems and petabyte-scale data processing
Have successfully designed and implemented API-first architectures
Are experienced with real-time streaming architectures and low-latency systems
Have a proven track record of optimising large-scale distributed systems
Bring strong knowledge of data security, privacy, and compliance requirements
