Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resident Engineer to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Resident Engineer specializing in building projects, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing construction activities, ensuring project success from inception to completion.

Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resident Engineer to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Resident Engineer specializing in building projects, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing construction activities, ensuring project success from inception to completion.
- Oversee daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and quality standards
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to maintain project timelines and budgets
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
- Review and approve construction drawings, change orders, and technical submittals
- Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports, site diaries, and meeting minutes
- Identify and resolve technical issues that arise during construction, proposing innovative solutions when necessary
- Manage and mentor junior engineering staff, fostering their professional development
- Liaise with local authorities and regulatory bodies to obtain necessary permits and approvals
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
- Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates to senior management and clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in building projects, with a proven track record of successful project delivery
- Extensive knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and industry standards
- Proficiency in Auto CAD or similar design software
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams
- Demonstrated experience in managing construction teams and coordinating with various stakeholders
- In-depth understanding of quality control and assurance processes in the construction industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Willingness to work on-site and travel as required within the UAE
