Bright Learners Private School is looking for dedicated, qualified, and dynamic Middle School Science & STEM Teacher to become a part of our school family! We are looking for a committed teacher to complement our qualified team of educators. The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching middle school science & STEM within an American curriculum school. This position also includes two World Geography lessons.
This role requires flexibility and an open-mind. The ideal candidate must have a passion for inspiring young minds, fostering curiosity, and delivering engaging lessons that align with the American curriculum standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, science lessons that are aligned with the NGSS science standards.
Student Assessment: Regularly assess students’ progress and adjust teaching methods as needed. Use formative and summative assessments to gauge student understanding and drive instruction.
Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and respect. Maintain high expectations for behavior and academic performance.
Lab and Experiments: Regularly organize, plan and conduct exciting hands-on experiments and laboratory activities to reinforce scientific concepts and engage students in practical learning experiences.
Integration of Technology: Utilize educational technology and interactive tools to enhance instruction and facilitate a modern, student-centered learning experience.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with fellow teachers and the school administration to ensure cohesive curriculum alignment across subjects and grade levels.
Professional Development: Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with the latest teaching practices and scientific advancements.
Parent Communication: Regularly communicate with parents regarding student progress, strengths, and areas of growth. Attend parent-teacher conferences and provide constructive feedback.
Other subjects: Teach a few periods of other subjects as needed.
