Excellent experience in a previous PMC role is essential as well as membership to a professional body e.g. RICS, MICE etc.

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Commercial Manager join our award-winning team based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
We envisage success in this role to include;
- Liaising with client, developer, consultants and contractors as well as KEO internal construction management and supervision, planning, engineering and design divisions.
- Developing and maintaining client relationships enhancing opportunities and business initiatives.
- Directing and ensuring the delivery of the contracted PM/CM services to the client.
- Demonstrated director level experience and capability in a wide range of Consultant Agreements and Construction Contracts.
- Demonstrate director level experience in complex projects from design through construction documents and implementation, including alternative forms of procurement.
- Ensuring the terms of the contract are followed and manages supplemental agreements.
- Implementing cost controls and financial control procedures as outlined in the construction contracts.
- Assessing and reporting upon client’s variations to the construction works and claims for changes from the contractors.
- Assessing, measuring, advising, and recommending on cost impact of design changes.
- Assisting in the reviews, assessments and reports upon contractor’s claims including review of time extensions, delays, and penalties.
- Prepares Change/Variation Orders and reports upon cost impacts of such orders on the construction budget.
- Making commercial decisions that impact positively on both short and long term bottom line results.
- Reviewing of projects’ proposals and plans to determine time frames, staffing plans, finding limitations and establishing procedures needed to accomplish the projects.
- Advising client on all matters pertaining to cost, scope and schedule.
- Reviewing and monitoring project cost estimates, value engineering (VE) proposals and cost reconciliation.
- Providing leadership, guidance and advice to the project team.
- Ensuring work is conducted with quality assurance protocols.
- Providing coherent presentations to shareholders and board members, on arising situations, progress status, and different reporting needs and requirements.
To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 15 years work experience partnered with a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or relevant.
