Senior Process Safety Engineer

Duration of Assignment: 12 months contract - extendable based on project requirement - Contract Hire (contracted through MPH to work for the company)

Proposed Monthly Salary: All inclusive - Including Accommodation & Transportation / month in AED
Experience Required:
- Engineering graduate, preferably with Chemical Engineering background, having 13+ years of experience in the field of loss prevention engineering in an Oil & Gas sector design consultancy. The candidate should possess good communication skills and should be a team player.
- Development of HSE design basis / philosophy
- Estimation of fire water/ foam system demand calculations/ fire water P&IDs
- Preparation of technical specifications for fire fighting and safety equipment
- Development of Hazardous Area Classification layouts
- Development of Fire and Gas detector layouts
- Development of Fire Fighting, Safety, Escape route and Safety sign layouts
- Experience in using consequence modelling software such as PHAST, FRED etc.
- Experience in Safety review such as HAZID, HAZOP etc.
- Experience in Technical evaluation of vendor bids
- Candidates having experience of working in offshore projects and safety studies experience are preferred.
- Yearly round-trip economy ticket to home country
- Demobilization tickets for the consultant will be provided.
- Leave entitlement as per UAE Labor Law
- UAE Residence visa and Work Permit will be provided for the consultant.
- Single status
- International premium medical and repatriation insurance will be provided to the consultant.
