Due to growth in the number of people attending our location we are seeking fun enthusiastic individuals to help run our sessions and support our members. Ideally you will have a background in working with adults with disabilities, and perhaps have some hidden talents or skills that can be used to run some sessions.... If you are looking for a career change then we will still consider your application.
Do you love nature, and would like to share this knowledge, teaching members. Do you have a passion for gardening, are you green fingered and keen to grow your own, or even build a collection of cut flowers.... we would welcome all your skills if you are able to share these with our members whilst educating them to the skills. Perhaps you love to dance and would run a dance session, or would you like to learn chair yoga and share that with our members? Perhaps you used to teach and can support our members who choose to take ASDAN qualifications.

Whatever you think you can bring to the role, a smiling face, happy demeanor and a great energy is an absolute must, our locations are like home from home and the atmosphere our team create is second to none.
Key duties for this role include:
Generate a monthly activity plan and run sessions as required by our Location Manager - this is where your own individual skills can really help bring our activities to life.
On a day where you aren't running the session then you will be required to support the other members of the team in delivering their plans.
Ensuring our members are supported to have fun and inclusive days at James' Place is the key requirement of this role. You will be required to join in team duties such as tea and coffee, lunch breaks and personal care.

Please note the advertised annual salary of £24,960 is based on a full time 40 hours a week role and the successful candidate will be paid on a pro-rata basis for the hours worked. This advert is for part time staff working a minimum of 7 hours a week to a maximum of 14 hours a week.
