We are currently looking for experienced and talented Architects / Designers to join our London office where, together with 150+ other BIGsters, you will be responsible for the delivery of projects of varying scale and typology in the UK and Middle East. You will work closely with a vibrant, multidisciplinary team of architectural, urban design and landscape professionals.
Our current staffing needs mean that we are especially interested in hearing from individuals with significant later-stage project experience (RIBA stages 3-5, specifically). As such, proficiency with both Revit and Rhino are required in order to be considered for interview.
Join us on our mission if you are an Architect/Designer who has:
- Strong conceptual, design and graphic skills
- Experience with technical detailing, construction documentation & construction administration
- Ability to resolve technical and design challenges through innovative thinking
- Exposure to management and coordination of project stakeholders, local authorities and approving bodies, and sub-consultants
- Ability to develop design options in collaboration with the design team
- Ability to prepare, develop and edit drawings and models as they relate to the project
- Experience using Rhino, Revit, Auto CAD, Vray, and Adobe Suite
- Experience leading on 3D coordination, interoperability, and other BIM-specific workflows
- Appetite to create positive BIM environments within your project teams
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- The ability to be proactive, self-motivated, and able to take initiative in response to direction from managers
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- A flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working
- Professional qualification as an Architect or an equivalent overseas qualification
- 2-7 years post qualification experience as an Architect/Designer
- 3-5 years of professional work experience using Revit as your core BIM tool and having conquered editing a wide range of Families
- Proficiency with Rhino
- Knowledge of industry BIM standards and requirements; experience as a BIM Lead would be advantageous
- Excellent communication skills, and fluency in English - spoken and written
- Experience with masterplans is a plus

This is a full-time position based out of BIG’s London office. Working together and collaborating in the same space is integral to our culture, so all our staff are expected to work from the office every day.
