Associate Commercial Strategist (Business Development)

What’s the role?
As the Junior Commercial Strategist, you are the sales superhero responsible for finding the next Founders of game-changing start-ups in London. Your role will be to source and meet with aspiring founders, explain the Hyper Accelerate process, build a relationship with the Founder, and provide mentorship and ongoing support throughout their journey from idea to investment.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in our rapidly expanding team.

You’ll be responsible for:
- Attracting several new founders to come into the Hyper Accelerator Program each month.
- Contacting warm incoming founder leads and booking appointments for a strategy session, explaining Hyper’s Accelerator program and value proposition.
- Sourcing and partnering with the Start-up Ecosystem to attract your own pool of game-changing Founders.
- Building a personal brand as an expert within the Start-up Ecosystem.
- Building relationships, mentoring, and upskilling our Founders in all areas of building a start-up.
- Coordinating with the Product Management & Design team for each new start-up project (Acelerate process).
- Keeping up to date with the latest start-up/tech announcements, attending external workshops/events where necessary and running your own.
- Promote our events with growth marketing techniques, sourcing new Founder talent to join Hyper.
- Illustrating initiative in creating new methods for growth
- A passion and deep desire for the Tech Start-up Community & Ecosystem
- Currently involved in the Start-Up Industry (attends events etc.)
- A desire for a career in Business Development and a love for communicating with people daily
- A self-starter with the ability to work independently
- An all-in mindset to being involved in the Industry (attend events etc, be a Brand Ambassador across social media and in real-life events)
- Entrepreneurial experience or experience in a start-up environment is a preference
- Excellent communication skills, both externally and internally.
- Preferable (but not limited to) 1-2 years’ experience in a Business Development role or Recruitment Agency role
- Connect with new tech founders, ideas and technologies before they become the next big thing
