Bakery Flow Wrap Operative Temporary
Waterfield's Bakery is a well-established Northwest Based family-owned quality baker with 36 shops across the Northwest. We are looking to recruit a temporary Flow Wrap Operative to work in the Flow Wrap Department at our bakery based on Manchester Road, Leigh, Lancashire, WN7 2LX.
Work includes but not limited to:

• To work in a fast-paced packing department, working in a team of 3 to 4 other staff members on a production line wrapping machine, which wraps bread and brioche rolls.
• Loading products into a wrapping machine.
• Packing wrapped product into baskets at the end of the packing line.
• This is a repetitive physical operation with a great deal of bending and twisting involved.
• Previous experience of working in a similar environment would be a definite advantage although not essential as full training will be provided.
• A working knowledge of both food safety and health & safety is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

Hours

• 40 hours per week 5 days per week
• Working hours 8am – 4.00pm Monday - Friday
• Uniform and safety shoes will be provided.

• Competitive rate of pay £11.44 per hour
• This is a temporary position till the end of December 2024
