Bott Smartvan UK Sales Channel Manager

We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our Group E-Commerce Team, specifically to manage our bott Smartvan UK sales channel, based from our modern offices in Bude, Cornwall.
Role Overview:
We’re looking for an experienced sales channel manager to lead the development and performance of our bott Smartvan UK e-commerce channel. Through the continuous improvement of our e-commerce solution (web, tools) you will ensure our offering is market relevant and sufficiently promoted and managed to deliver sustainable, profitable growth. As the bott Smartvan UK Sales Channel Manager, you will work with the bott group e-commerce manager to support and focus this sales channel via marketing campaigns, product alignment, SEO optimisation, pricing etc.
This role is based in either Bude, Cornwall but occasional travel between our UK sites and across the bott group will be required.
Key Responsibilities;
- Develop and execute e-commerce strategy in alignment with overall business goals.
- Optimise the bott Smartvan online shopping experience in order to boost revenue and improve both customer satisfaction and retention.
- Employ data analytics tools to track and analyse website performance and customer engagement metrics.
- Collaborate with specialist external agencies to bring in specialist skills and support as and when required.
- Report and manage UK sales achievement on a monthly basis.
- Work with bott group e-commerce manager to support and drive the profitable performance of our bott Smartvan channel.
- Collaborate with product management on pricing strategy (price setting, discount strategy, margin analysis).
- SEO/SEM – ensure that our online presence is optimised to secure best chance of growth.
- Establish key KPIs (revenue, margin, SEO performance, net promoter score (NPS), trade / van types, financing solutions etc.) to measure and track progress.
- Competitor analysis – monitor market trends and adapt strategies to effectively compete with other brands in the market.
- Quickly build technical knowledge and awareness of the existing product offering, steering the future, utilising functional support i.e. product ‘fit for market’, feedback from market, product development & innovation.
- Managing the annual marketing plan & budget.
- External marketing activities, shows, influencer development.
- Collaboration with partner associations i.e. Festool.
- Raising of non-conformances as and when required and liaison with UK Quality Manager to follow these through to conclusion.
- Operational performance – manage end to end process of enquiry through to delivery and aftersales. Review where this can be optimised both for bott and for the customer (lean packaging, easy fitting etc.).
- Managing the sales, operations and digital support teams – ensuring clear task roles, coaching, development and retention (employee dialogue 100% completion).
- Implementation of CRM system to lever ability to target specific campaigns.
- Internal stakeholder communication and alignment (i.e. brand approach CI etc.).
- Existing experience gained from a digital marketing-based role with strong awareness of e-commerce platforms.
- Thorough understanding of web design, web analysis, SEO and content management.
- Experienced in automotive / trade sales would be an advantage.
- Able to collaborate with different stakeholders across the business to support implementation of projects and drive performance.
- Financial awareness and previous responsibility for sales channel account - revenue, P&L, budgets, etc.
- Communication skills – internal / external presentations, marketing etc.
- Proven ability to develop channel marketing strategy, pricing and campaigns.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable to represent bott Smartvan on social media marketing campaigns and trade shows
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Valid passport
