JOB DESCRIPTION
Overview: We are looking for an experienced Multi-service Design Manager to lead a design team. This role involves creating and managing design solutions while ensuring compliance with safety and sustainability standards.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design Solutions: Lead the design, implementation, and management of non-permanent installations, ensuring flexibility and compliance with standards.
• Technical Support: Provide technical guidance to operations teams.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure designs adhere to health, safety, and sustainability standards for defect-free handover.
• Collaboration: Work with the Principal Designer and Principal Contractor to maintain information flow and meet regulatory requirements.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the design team, ensuring effective delivery of solutions.
• Client Engagement: Present design proposals and manage requisition specifications for equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Role
Manage and lead the design team to ensure the effective delivery of building services solutions while maintaining compliance with technical and regulatory standards.
KEY SKILLS REQUIRED
Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in building services or a similar regulated industry.
• Proven leadership skills with experience in managing a design team.
• Proficiency in Auto CAD, Revit, and relevant design software.
• Professional membership in relevant institutions (e.g., RIBA, CIBSE, IET).
• A valid CSCS card is required.
• Degree qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

Desirable Attributes:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to mentor and coach team members.
• Knowledge of codes of practice related to temporary installations.
