Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to provide support and assistance to individuals in their homes or care facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in home care or care homes and possess excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support clients with mobility and physical therapy exercises
- Help create and implement care plans tailored to individual needs
- Drive clients to appointments or outings when necessary
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Maintain accurate records of care provided
- Utilize IT systems for documentation purposes
Skills
- Experience in home care or care home settings
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with clients
- IT proficiency for recording and updating client information
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £10.79-£11.31 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
