Care Assistant - Night Shift

· Comfortable working shifts
Desirable:
· SVQ Level 2 in Care
· Experience in working in health or social care
· Full Driving License
· Experience of Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and Fire Safety procedures
Candidates will only be considered if they have the ability to commute or are actively relocating to the job location - KY1 2YG. WE ARE UNABLE TO OFFER SPONSORSHIPS AT THIS TIME.
About the role:
This is a permanent post and hours will be, on average, 38.5 per week. Shifts will be discussed at interview. Rate of pay is £12.00 per hour and the successful candidate will be offered the opportunity to join our Company Pension Scheme and our Private Health Cash Plan.
· You will be assisting our residents with all aspects of their day to day life. Ability to provide help, support and attention where required.
· Communicating with colleagues, residents and their family about the type and level of care required.
· Assisting with domestic duties as required along with helping at mealtimes for residents and visitors.
· Organising and helping with events, activities and entertainment for residents and families.
· Maintaining log books and records as required.
· Ensuring the home is kept clean and tidy at all times.

Elizabeth House is a family run 17-bed care home based in Dysart, Kirkcaldy. We have undertaken a significant refurbishment of the Home over the past few years and continue to make improvements to the interior and outside garden areas to allow us to provide our residents with exceptional care. As a close-knit team, we are looking for someone who can join us and help support our residents to live as meaningful and fulfilling lives as possible.
