Care Manager key responsibilities:
Monitor and support the delivery of person-centred care, to all people using the service. You will always put the needs and wellbeing of the service users first, whilst striving to find new ways to enrich their lives.
Lead a multi-disciplinary team in providing outstanding, personalised care to our service users.
Ensure that the actions of all staff directly supporting people using the service support their care, protection and well-being, and in compliance with external regulations and standards.
Manage all aspects of the home, identifying business opportunities whilst managing budgets and taking responsibility for your home’s profitability.
Accurate monitoring and reporting of team rotas through use of the company internal systems in line with company policy and procedures.
Work effectively with external agencies to promote the work of Haven care services and to increase referrals and placements within the area in line with defined business goals.
Develop the knowledge and skill of staff teams through delivering service specific training as and when required.
You must have knowledge and skillset in safeguarding, and CQC notification compliance.
Ensure that all services delivered are compliant as per CQC requirements.
Audit services regularly and report accordingly
Supervise, mentor and act as a positive role model to all staff to ensure effective and efficient person-centred service delivery to all people who use the service.
Work effectively with staff, senior colleagues and all other managers within the company.
Work effectively with families and all stakeholders at Haven care services.
Conduct supervision and annual performance appraisals for all team members.
Take a lead role in developing and delivering an appropriate induction programme for new staff which supports them to work effectively.
Can support the processes to complaints and compliance.
Motivate and support the staff team to drive and improve service delivery, can lead staff meetings and set realistic objectives.
The nature of the job responsibilities may require flexible hours, including some evening and weekend hours. You are required to work additional hours when authorised and as necessitated by the needs of the business, and you may be required to provide on call duties, as necessary.
You will possess good time management skills and be IT literate.
You will be committed to reporting on Service User outcomes and organisational KPI reporting.
