Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospice care, assisted living, or nursing home environments, and will be committed to delivering high-quality patient care. This role involves working closely with clients to ensure their comfort, safety, and overall well-being.
Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to clients, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support clients with meal preparation and nutritional needs.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
• Implement behaviour management strategies as required to support clients' emotional well-being.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel.
• Foster positive relationships with clients and their families to enhance their quality of life.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Experience

• Previous experience in hospice care, assisted living, or nursing home settings is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability in patient care and understanding of individual needs.
• Familiarity with behaviour management techniques is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A caring attitude and a commitment to providing high-quality support to those in need.

• Must have a registered DBS on the update service
• Not accepting less than 40 hours availability
• Must have fixed availability
• Car drivers are welcome
