Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Care Worker to join our team in providing compassionate care to individuals in their homes or care facilities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and ensuring the well-being of those they support.
Duties
- Develop and implement individual care plans based on clients' needs
- Provide personal care assistance such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with meal preparation and medication reminders
- Support clients with mobility and transportation needs, including driving when required
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in clients' conditions
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Utilize IT systems for documentation and reporting
Requirements
- Experience in home care or care home settings is desirable
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Compassionate nature with a strong desire to help others
- Proficient IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes
- A valid driving licence would be advantageous
