About the Role
Due to retirement after nearly 40 years, this is a wonderful opportunity for you to join our charity as a Holiday Home Caretaker in Overstrand, Norfolk.
We're looking for a caring and compassionate person to support us offer a memorable holiday for guests at our two disability-friendly holiday homes set on the grounds of Overstrand Hall. We have a good mix of some lovely regulars who come to stay year after year, some more than once a year, and first-timers who are looking for an accessible escape to the coast.
As part of the role, you will be responsible for the changeovers, which often take place on Saturday, you'll keep a close eye on the property's condition, and support to keep clean, care for, and maintain the homes.
You will be the first person to welcome and greet our holidaymakers and the first point of contact for any questions or queries from the guests during their stay.
You will be supported by a co-ordination team in Leicester, who will keep you up to date on the bookings, and be on-hand for any escalations or help you need - there is also a collective of tradespeople local who are readily available to attend the homes in case of emergency or urgent concerns.
