We are a small but prominent and busy Japanese eatery looking for an experienced and passionate chef to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position has a background in preps using fresh ingredients including fresh meat, fish/shellfish and veg, enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and is capable of taking direction well and multi-tasking effectively. A successful candidate will have restaurant industry experience, a passion for good food, and strong communication and teamwork skills.
4 days, up to 35 hours a week. We are closed on Sundays and Mondays. Christmas - New Year closed. Hourly wage negotiable depending on your skills/experiences.
Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals to high standards according to our recipes.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met..
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
• Monitor inventory and report to the manager daily.
