About The Role:
We are working with a local authority based in Bedfordshire to recruit full time permanent Civil Enforcement Officers. There are 7 total positions available, and you will be working within the parking enforcement team to ensure the free movement of traffic and rotation of car parking spaces within the local car parks/on street parking. The Civil Enforcement Officers are responsible for providing an efficient and effective service parking enforcement in order to minimise vehicles parking in contravention, through the issue of penalty charge notices.
No previous experience is required, full training will be provided which will include on the job training and a Level 2 award for parking enforcement.
The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold a full clean driving licence
• Pass a standard DBS clearance check
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be confident in dealing with members of the public
• Be comfortable working outdoors in all weather

Working Pattern:

• 37 hours a week
• Permanent position
• Shift patterns will include 4 days on, 4 days off on a rolling 8 week rota. There will also be weekend shifts (with enhanced pay) and a mixture of early and late shifts between 7am and 9:30pm
• Part-time hours may also be considered
