Do you have experience of being a ‘hands on’ cleaning supervisor and supervising staff?
Available immediately to work on a full time basis, minimum of 30 hours a week?
Our client, based in York is looking for an experienced, capable and confident cleaning supervisor to work with and oversee staff.
This is a temporary assignment, for a minimum of 3 months, with the potential of longer and a possibility of the role becoming permanent.
The role will be for a minimum of 30 hours a week. Working hours will be Monday to Friday, 3.30pm – 9.00pm and one morning a week 7.30am – 10.00am.
The rate of pay is £13.43 per hour, plus night enhancements and paid weekly.

Duties will include:

• Management and supervision of individuals and cleaning team, including co-ordinating cover/rotas.
• Being the initial point of contact for Managers, Directors and senior staff, within the organisation, for all cleaning issues on site and external clients as well.
• Responsibility for managing the cleaning budget, stock control and audits for all sites.
• Recruiting, training and inducting new cleaners and where necessary working with cleaners on areas where standards have not been achieved.
