Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Lead Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and possess in-depth knowledge of residential nursing home environment.
Responsibilities
Have responsibility for the implementation, operation, co-ordination and review of governance systems and processes at Jah-Jireh (Charity) Homes Wigan. This will include the audit program, risk management systems and processes and key performance indicators
Ensuring that Jah-Jireh (Charity) Homes Wigan is compliant with current legislation and best practice relating to all areas of clinical governance
Ensure there is a clear process and structure for the monitoring of governance reporting across the organisation, to share learning and experiences; review key performance indicators and identity trends and themes
Ensure that complaints within Jah-Jireh (Charity) Homes Wigan are collated then analysed to identify trends and themes and to share learning
Have an organisational structure in place that defines leadership and accountability
Ensure that a corporate risk register is in place to monitor and evaluate the high risk strategic and business risks within Jah-Jireh (Charity) Homes Wigan
Creates a culture of continuous improvement
Duties
Oversee and coordinate clinical activities within the home
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff
- Ensure high-quality patient care delivery
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Monitor patient progress and outcomes
- Conduct training sessions for nursing and other care staff
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Experience
- Essential: Demonstrated experience in patient care
- Essential: Current RGN Registration
- Essential: Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a clinical setting
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £34,500.00 per year
