Matrix Precision Engineering is an industry leading sub-contract Precision Engineering company based in Thatcham (near Newbury). We manufacture components & Bespoke Assemblies to extremely high standards, to the highest quality requirements, across the many industry sectors in which we support.
Who are we looking for…
We require a fully skilled CNC Turner, this opportunity requires the ability to program/set and operate. Must be able to interpret engineering drawings and programme the machines to manufacture high quality machined components and meeting drawing tolerances.
Preferably the ideal candidates would offer the following:

• Have extensive experience of Setting, Programming and operating CNC lathes.
• Ideally have a good working knowledge of Fanuc Controls (Ideally Haas CNC lathes). Training can be provided if experienced with other CNC control systems.

· The majority of work is currently programmed at the machine however offline programming experience would be preferred but not essential. Ideally knowledge of Fusion 360 would be advantageous, however training can be provided.

• Must be able to interpret engineering drawings and produce high quality machined components.

• Must take great care and pride in the machined components you will be expected to manufacture.

• Must be able to use a wide variety of measuring equipment within the workshop.

Working Hours
· This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri), flexible working hours can be considered. We only run a standard day shift (no night shift).
