The Role: Complex Care Support Worker.
Hourly Rate: £13.00 per hour.
Location: Buxton, Derbyshire.
Shift Pattern: The shift times differ dependant on the package.
Please note, we provide 24 hour around the clock care so they will mainly include 12 hour shifts and will include days, waking nights and alternative weekends.
Contract Type: Permanent with immediate start available. We offer the below contracts:
Part time – 28 hour contract
DBS: DBS preferred.
Driver with access to a vehicle: Preferred.
Right to Work: The company is unable to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role. You will be required to provide evidence of your right to work in the UK.

The People in Buxton:

• In Buxton, you will support a young lady with complex care needs.
• She loves to go out into the community, swimming and horse riding.
• Other duties will include moving and handling, personal care, pressure care and administering medication.
• Our people really do look forward to meeting their new carers and can’t wait to introduce themselves if you successfully progress to the meet and greet stage!

Training:

• At Josh's Care Company, we are dedicated to equipping you with the skills and knowledge necessary to become compliant in all areas of specialised care, from tracheostomy and ventilator management to postural and respiratory care, as well as PEG feeding.
• Rest assured that you will be in the capable hands of our skilled and experienced nursing team at Josh's Care Company.
• Our nurses have a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the field of nursing and care which will ensure that you receive the highest standard of training and support possible.

We are seeking highly motivated professionals with a caring demeanour, excellent communication skills, and previous care experience, with knowledge of complex care being an added advantage. A positive attitude and friendly nature are essential attributes for this role, as you will be providing meaningful support and encouragement to enhance our people’s quality of life.
To be considered for this position, you will need:

• A passion for care

• Flexible availability.
• To be able to work days, waking nights and alternate weekends.
• A current DBS if possible (paper or update service).
• A driving license (preferred but not essential).
