THE ROLE: Responsibility & key behaviours
Identifying Business Opportunities

• Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential growth areas
• Identify new markets, industries, or customer segments to target
• Creation of new business proposals and presentations

Building and Managing Relationships

• Develop, maintain and nurture client relationships through events, meetings, workshops, calls, and other means
• Delivery of project plans and budgets and ensuring timelines are met

Developing Business Strategies

• Formulate business development strategies aligned with departmental goals.
• Managing databases and stakeholder engagement on behalf of clients
• Assess market trends and competitive landscapes to stay ahead of the curve
• Development and delivery of social impact projects

Driving Sales and Revenue Growth

• Generate leads and convert these, and provided leads into profitable business opportunities
• Project management of activations and events
• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets
• Collaborate with executives and other consultants to optimize the sales process and improve conversions

Monitoring and Reporting

• Track business development activities, sales performance, and KPIs
• Analyse data and generate reports to assess progress and identify areas for improvement
• Managing databases and stakeholder engagement on behalf of clients
• Present findings and insights to senior management for strategic decision-making
• Managing an Offers and Promotions data base
• Production of: Client Reports and Updates, Research and insight projects
