Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Domestic Assistant to provide essential support in maintaining a clean and organised environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. Experience in a Care Home or hospitality setting is advantageous, as it demonstrates the ability to meet the standards expected in domestic assistance.
Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
• Organise and tidy living spaces, ensuring that all areas are presentable and welcoming.
• Assist with laundry tasks, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes.
• Prepare meals or assist with meal preparation as required.
• Manage household supplies by monitoring inventory levels and restocking as necessary.
• Provide support for special events or occasions within the household.
• Maintain open communication with household members to ensure needs are met effectively.

Skills

• Previous experience in a Care Home or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
• Good communication skills for interacting with household members and understanding their needs.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team when required.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and managing household tasks efficiently.
