Overview:
The role of the Educational Consultant will support students and families with university applications to the USA, Canada, Europe and the UK. The majority of the responsibilities for this role will be carried out remotely but there will be requirement to travel for events, meetings, business and professional development.

The role of Educational Consultant will support students through the university admissions process. The role will require flexibility during the working week, particularly between the hours of 4.30pm and 9.30pm when students and their families tend to be available, as well as at weekends. Some travel to speak at evening events (or participate in them remotely) will also be required to ensure the continued success of the Company and the development of relationships with our partner schools, colleges and universities.

Responsibilities:
The role of Educational Consultant will support students through the university admissions process. Direct Services:
- Supporting roughly 30-40 students (full-time) in each graduating class through a variety of aspects and combinations of the university admissions process;
- Supporting students in Years 10-12 in preparation for university applications;
- Communicate with parents/guardians on a regular basis, at least fortnightly, although typically more often. This will involve email, Zoom, telephone or Whats App where appropriate;
- Conduct school-based activities at schools that have contracted with us for direct delivery of services;
- Make use of publicly available data to inform advice and expertise;
- Participate in continuing education / professional development.
- Write blogs, newsletters, social media posts, newsletters and articles targeted at high school students and parents/guardians;
- Coordinate and participate in events to speak publicly about university admissions, virtually and in-person, at schools around the UK;
- Attend events and visit schools for talks, workshops, INSET, and 1:1 consultations to develop relationships with high school counsellors, university representatives, and other educational experts.
- Attend regular team meetings (typically virtually, but in-person when the need arises)
- Share and keep billing info and records

Person Specification:
Essential
- A bachelor's degree.
- Experience in advising student making successful university applications to either the United States or European countries.
- Strong interpersonal abilities, both oral and written.
- The capacity to investigate and remain informed about evolving university admissions trends.
- Competency in using relevant software and digital platforms for research.
- The right to work in the UK without a visa.
- Experience in advising students making university applications to the United States, UK, Canada and European countries.
- A qualification, previous experience or professional accreditation in international university advising or career guidance.
- Awareness of common educational curriculums studied within the UK including GCSEs, A Levels and the IB Diploma.
Pay: £45,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
