Salary: £21.60 p/ hour (Weekday) & £22.80 p/hour (weekend)
Location St Albans, Hertfordshire
Shifts: 1845-0700- Thursday - Sunday

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential / Experience:

• Successfully completed IHCD, Level 4 AAP Qualification or FREUC 5 (Ambulance Technician Certificate).
• Futurequals L3 / Emergency Ambulance Driving Certificate (If IHCD we will ask for Section 19 completion evidence)
• C1 Category licence
• Evidence of Continual Professional Development
• Effective social skills gained from experience, dealing with the public, with the ability to
• communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Physical Fitness Requirement: As a clinicians a high level of physical fitness is essential for success in this role. You will occasionally encounter situations where quick access to inaccessible patients, often involving climbing stairs, is necessary. Additionally, your responsibilities will include manual handling and performing CPR. Being in excellent physical condition is crucial to ensure that you can provide rapid and effective medical care to those in need.

• Ability to carry out manual handling including the lifting of patients and equipment
• Good knowledge of current operational procedures and clinical practices
• Able to communicate across wide demographic boundaries in an appropriate manner
