Role Overview:
As an escape room host you will be required to look after our guests from the moment they arrive on site to when they have completed their game and left the building. You will monitor their game on CCTV and audio to help them throughout with hints and additional clues when needed. We are looking for someone who can help bring the story of each of our games to life to build a fun, immersive experience. You will need to be confident and comfortable speaking and presenting to small groups of people in a fun and friendly manner. You will need to work well on your own initiative, or as a part of a team and be available at relatively short notice. A good understanding of basic computer use is desirable but not essential as full training will be given. Due to the late finishing times, having your own transport will be a bonus.
Key Responsibilities:

• Welcoming guests to Clue HQ, ensuring they receive a truly unique and memorable experience.
• Briefing guests on game and site safety rules in a fun and entertaining manner.
• Monitoring the guests on CCTV and audio for the duration of their game interacting with them when required.
• Taking photographs after the game has ended if the guests would like one.
• Resetting games and ensuring all props are in good order and in the correct place.
• Provide exceptional customer service and handle any guest enquiries or concerns.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the escape rooms and public areas.

What We’re Looking For:

• A positive, outgoing personality with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly on your feet.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
• Previous experience in customer service or entertainment is a plus, but not essential.
