Events Management Assistant - JP Morgan - London - 3 months contract - Hybrid - PAYE
We are seeking an Events Management Assistant to help support JP Morgan's EMEA Events Team on an initial 3 months contract in London. The ideal candidate will have a few years of events experience preferably within the financial services industry but we will consider other industries.
The role
As an Events Management Assistant you will partner with marketing & communications, business stakeholders and other lines of business to help deliver strategic event opportunities designed to drive client and prospect engagement across our growing international footprint. This role will provide support across EMEA events and client initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a good communicator, self-motivated, detail orientated, metrics driven and possess a genuinely proactive attitude.
Job Responsibilities:
  • This role involves supporting the Global corporate banking EMEA events team to provide full assistance on all event related activity
  • Primarily this assistance relates to working on event-specific databases, event calendar maintenance, event collateral and delegate management and reporting
  • Management of attendee nominations, tracking of event performance and reporting on a regular cadence
  • Manage and instruct internal and external vendors and suppliers, ensuring quality and value standards are maintained
  • Execute quality output under tight deadlines
  • Provide event on-site support
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Relevant experience in events
  • Superior oral and written communication and analytical skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail is imperative in this role
  • Ability to problem solve/think independently
  • Must be able to tackle any task and exemplify a positive attitude and commitment to success
  • Ability to work in a fast-pace environment with dynamic priorities
  • Comfortable working in a matrix management organisation structure
  • Ability to attend and support on events outside of normal daily hours
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Workfront a plus
  • Experience in using Power Point & excel
  • Languages would be beneficial, particularly French and Spanish
*Please note that this role will be working on a hybrid model of 3 days office based and up to 2 days working from home. You'll require your own device when wfh.*
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: £200.00-£275.00 per day
