We’re a friendly, forward-thinking property management company, recognised for providing the highest tier quality service across Cumbria and North Lancashire with our new office located at the stunning Leven’s Hall. We currently manage close to 100 apartment blocks and housing estates, in addition to several commercial premises. Unprecedented recent growth has resulted in an opening for an experienced and organised property manager with strong communication skills and an excellent track record.
YOUR ROLE
In this diverse, client facing role you will be managing the general running, maintenance and financial aspects of several apartment blocks and housing estates.
Your core responsibilities will include:
This role is predominantly office based with regular client visits and scope to work from home one day per week.
Our Cumbria office is located in the old stables at Leven's Hall, conveniently situated between Kendal and Milnthorpe, on the A590.
You will be required to work 30-37.5 hours per week (depending on whether your preference is to work part or full time) with 30 minutes unpaid lunch break per day, plus the occasional weekday evening for a client AGM. Working hours are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday for a full-time role, but there is flexibility depending on your personal requirements.

YOUR ROLE

Your core responsibilities will include:
- Responding to client enquiries
- Mediating between and influencing clients
- Analysing and explaining lease information
- Co-ordinating with accounts to set and manage budgets
- Inspecting sites to identify maintenance requirements
- Co-ordinating minor and major works maintenance and construction projects
- Implementing recommendations from fire risk assessments
- Managing and building relationships with contractors, surveyors and utilities brokers
- Ensuring health and safety compliance
- Building and maintaining client relationships to retain existing business
- Chairing AGMs and directors' meetings
- Managing your own time and diary
- Helping to shape the wider business growth and improvement strategy
- Contributing to the trainee property manager development programme

Attributes:

- At least 3-5 years’ relevant experience
- Direct client or customer service experience
- Experience managing contractors
- IT and email proficiency (Microsoft Works package)
- Experience organising meetings, writing agendas and minutes
- Project management and budgeting
- Minimum of grade 5 / B in GCSE or O Level English and a grade 4 / C in Maths
- A-levels or equivalent
- UK driving license (with no more than 3 points) and a reliable vehicle
- IRPM qualifications
- Property management, surveying, construction or compliance related background and qualifications
- Educated to degree level at 2:1 or above beneficial, but by no means essential
